Registration Rates
Professors: 300,- CAD
Graduate Students / Postdocs: 200,- CAD
Registration includes access to all posters, presentations and keynote addresses. It also includes lunch + coffee/snacks during breaks on each conference day. The registration fee also covers the conference dinner, but does not cover costs for other social events.
Please note that the conference will happen as a full in-person meeting. As such, remote attendance is not an option.
Conference registration will open once the submission has ended and submissions have been reviewed.
Venue
The second Regional Cultural Differences Conference will take place at Green College, a distinctive venue and interdisciplinary scholarly community situated within the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Located amid lush forests with views of the Pacific Ocean and North Shore mountains, Green College offers a unique setting for conferences, workshops, and events. With its historic architecture, scenic gardens, and close proximity to bars and restaurants, the College presents attendees with a quintessential West Coast experience throughout the conference.
Accommodation
We do not have any contracts or reserved room blocks with a specific hotel. The conference venue Green College is located on the UBC campus, which can be reached from all parts of the city. Nevertheless, we suggest booking one of the several accommodations options that are on or close to the campus. Here is a short list of potential accommodations:
On-campus options:
Affordable accommodation in a convenient campus location and a beautiful setting, is available from May to August each year.
Located right on the UBC campus, this hotel offers spacious suites with full kitchens and easy access to campus attractions. It's a great choice for those looking for comfort and convenience.
Also located on UBC's campus, Gage Suites offers both one- and two-bedroom apartments with kitchenettes, perfect for extended stays.
This is a more budget-friendly option located directly on campus, offering basic accommodations for visitors.
From May to August, UBC’s Pacific Spirit Hostel at Place Vanier offers budget travellers private single and double rooms with high-speed wifi, shared washrooms and on-site laundry. The shared lounge is a great place to make new friends from all over the world.
TRIUMF House is a boutique Vancouver guesthouse offering a variety of comfortable rooms and suites to short- and long-stay guests. TRIUMF House offers complimentary in-room wi-fi and other amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, a 24-hour fitness room, secure underground parking and bike rentals.

Located near English Bay, this historic hotel is about 5 miles from UBC. It's a charming, family-friendly hotel that offers beautiful waterfront views and proximity to Stanley Park.
Situated on Granville Island, around 5 miles from UBC, this boutique hotel offers modern accommodations with views of False Creek and quick access to downtown Vancouver.
Lord Stanley Suites on the Park
